Cellulosic Paint
Cellulosic Paint Features
Developed for the furniture and metal industry and used in the general metal manufacturing industry due to its fast drying time for metal assembly. Cellulosic paint, which can be used for furniture, decoration works, and lacquer work on all kinds of wood, sheet metal, and polyester, continues to give very good results on metal surfaces as well. For detailed information about the product regarding its features or application method, you can examine the address and order the product. Additionally, in terms of usage, it is easily used in the industry in machine manufacturing and in cars. Cellulosic paint, which is easily flammable, is harmful to health when inhaled, comes into contact with skin, or ingested. It is an irritant to the eyes and skin, and there is a possibility of causing sensitivity upon skin contact.
Application of Cellulosic Paint
Although its application area is generally in the manufacturing industry, it is also used in the furniture and decoration sector. Cellulosic paint, which is a bright and fast-drying paint, is a preferred choice due to its extremely high hardness and scratch resistance. Regarding the application method, if it is to be applied to metal surfaces, it is correct to apply it to surfaces that have been prepared with cellulosic primer and sanded over epoxy primer before application. During application, cellulosic paint is applied in 2 or 3 cross coats. Considering the evaporation of solvent, a 5-minute interval should be maintained between coats. Regarding the thinning/mixing ratio, it needs to be thinned with cellulosic thinner. This ratio is accepted as 10-15%. However, regarding the area that can be painted or coated, if applied in a single coat, an area of 12 m²/lt (30-40 microns) can be painted in a single coat. As for the drying time, at an ambient temperature of 23 °C and 50% relative humidity, the touch-dry time is expected to be approximately 10-30 minutes. It achieves hard dry in 2-3 hours. Full drying is completed in approximately 24-48 hours.
